Bunny Ear Teething Rings

These are a few of the ones I made. I did not use wood for the ring. I used plastic shower curtain rings. I covered them with fabric sleeves and hand sewed them where the ring locks together. Then I addedthe bunny ears per the directions.
This is the link to the Word Press site where I got the idea and directions.

XXXL BAG IT UP

I had someone order a custom diaper bag. It is for 3 very Sweet Special Needs children. All of them in diapers. This bag is made of dark gray canvas fabric with a darker gray water shedding sport fabric.

The front two pockets are large enough to hold a clip board each, for paper work needed for Dr. visits.
This is the back side of the bag, there are 2 large elastic pockets. Notice the jacket zipper, the bag totally opens up.
On the inside are 8 pockets 6 of them diaper size. There are side pockets as well one with a clasp for keys.
There are two phone pockets on the front sides. One has a place for a pen and lip gloss.

I am happy with the design I choose. One thing I am not real happy about is the weight , it is heavy and its empty. I need to find ways to make it lighter yet still durable.

Thank you for stopping by, if you are looking for a special needs bag let me know. We can work together and come up with the right design for you.

TShirt Quilt (not really)

I wanted to make my grandson Isaac a tshirt quilt from his old tee’s. But truth is they were not in the best shape. My thoughts were why would you use beautiful new fabric and those funky old tee shirts. So, I purchased new fabric bought the screen designs and had them put on the pre cut fabrics with the fusible interfacing already ironed on them. NICE says it ALL!

Here is one of the squares made from the white medium weight Jersey fabric I bought from Joann’s Fabric.
Here you can see several they are so fresh, crisp, and clean. They also iron extremely well to the fusable pelon.
The completed quilt was the easiest one I have ever had quilted it literally came out perfect according to my quilting friend Mary Kay of Allendale. (she had alot to do with that as she is awesome) For the backing I ended up using a black flat fitted queen size sheet.
You can see it on display here in the background of the Graduation party decorations.
This is my amazing Grandson Isaac Alarcon. He will be playing football for Graceland University. They are blessed for sure to have him. Not only a great athlete but an awesome young man of integrity and compassion.

Let the SunShine (visor)

Can’t seem to make enough of these. Garden, Biking, Walking, and extra protection on brighter days driving. My favorite is the linen. I made one to match a linen dress I made recently. I will post a picture need to get my main man to take a picture of it on me.

Great gifts too!

Thanks for stopping by.
